After running the music section at WomensRadio for the last four and one half years, I’ve become accustomed to having artists pop up out of nowhere and become ‘the next big thing’. I’ve become even more familiar with the sheer excitement radiating off of these types of bands and everything surrounding them; including their representation, fans and press, which all combine to become the major catalyst in igniting the fuse which sends them into orbit.
Asobi Seksu. If I said it out loud I’d more than likely mispronounce it, but all tongue twisters aside this is a show not to be missed … especially if you are one to enjoy that which might include classification as ‘shoegaze’ or rock music with that ‘indie pop’ vibe. It’s pretty delicious.
