•A Matter of Time•.How often do we get out of our comfort zones and try something new? Once a week? Once a month? Once a year? The farther in-between these types of experiences results in it becoming only a matter of time before life starts feeling monotonous….Earlier this spring I found myself in downtown Reno waiting for the sun to rise, standing on a bridge with my lens hanging out and my sensor fully "exposed" for sixty seconds straight. This sort of "virgin" outing is the result of a blatant act of my camera's public "nudity". One might even venture say it was a full minute of "indecent" exposure. Luckily no-one was around to alert the fuzz, but I may have captured a wee bit in this shot..I know, the puns are terrible… I'll show myself out ;). 2016-05-28 5:24AM️Nikon D750 ️Nikkor 24-70mm @ 24mm️ISO 100 ️f/22 ️60 sec️Singh-Ray 77mm Vari-ND Filter

•Lupine Attraction•.I'll be the first to admit that at this point I'm by no means a "macro" photographer, but if I can get focused on a small creature, I'll take the shot, any day of the week!.This little guy was really busy moving from flower to flower (lupine to lupine), but stayed still just long enough for me to capture a moment of his life's journey in Lake Tahoe this June..I think it's the "bees knees" to see them out and about, ensuring the life of so many flowers and other vegetative life after so many have died off here in America. Let's give this guy and his entire species a round of applause for doing what they do best! …and while we're at it, let's consider what WE can do in our daily lives to make certain that we continue to coexist :). 2016-06-12 6:13PM️Nikon D750 ️Nikkor 24-70mm @ 70mm️ISO 100 ️f/2.8 ️1/200 sec
