•••A Brief Moment of Perfection•••.That feeling of catching a glimpse of something you know is but a fleeting moment and being able to share it with others….The story behind this flower is short and sweet. My mother-in-law and father-in-law grow a variety of roses at their place in Somersett at Del Webb and brought this little guy over to our place in late May as a gift, which we kept in a vase and watched as it opened to reveal this almost mathematical sequencing of spirals. Had my wife (@luvkittykatrina) not pointed out to me the progression and suggested I take a quick snap, I would've totally missed out on this simplistic, yet marvelous beauty. In addition to the spirals, I especially enjoy the unique "antique" base color and the "drops" of magenta found throughout, and have honestly never seen anything quite like it before..Can you help identify the variety? Being able to share in this with a group of photographers all just as immersed in the experience as I, well… I'm not really sure there's a word for that, but if it were a drug, I'd be hooked!.What we're looking at here is a 5 horizontal shot bracket, combined using Lightroom 6's built-in HDR merge command, with additional tweaks in LR and Color Efex Pro.
