•Off the Grid•.Take the opportunities to leave civilization when you can. Get out there and see something new, witness the marvels of expanding space and time, drive slowly and scan the horizon. It's even better when Google Maps can't quite get you there..Earlier this month under the new moon, I had the pleasure of taking another stab at shooting the Milky Way in its infinite glory. This time however with a different group of friends (thanks Tomas and Jim!) and in a couple different locations..For this shot, I found that by taking a low angle and placing the trailer in the foreground, the light pollution from Carson City was mostly blocked, which was a good start but didn't quite do it for me. Maybe setup a lantern under the trailer for a unique illumination?
