•I'm With Her•.Yeah, it's a play on Hilary's campaign slogan and the fact that the patriotic beauty in this photo happens to be my wife. See what I did there? Pretty clever, eh?.This is a recent shot we envisioned after photographing some new products of hers for the Kitty Katrina Etsy store (she designs and handcrafts beautiful flower hair accessories like the one seen in the photo right here in Reno) and decided to have a little fun in the sun before wrapping things up for the day..Because we shot this midday, the light was initially pretty harsh, but a slight warmth adjustment in Lightroom and a little color boost in Color Efex Pro helped magnificently. I also masked the clouds, as to expose them separately from the rest of the image, which helped in retaining their highlights and contrast..To me, this shot represents a facet of photography that I'd like to do A LOT more of… working with PEOPLE!
